A popular hub for Unlitter events, the Swamp Restaurant has supported the movement since its early beginning. What began as a "BringYourOwnCup" (BYOC) Happy Hour, patrons were given a discount on draft beer for providing their own cup up to 20 ounces in volume. Eventually, the restaurant expressed interest in "unlittering" their business through consulting efforts. They transitioned to using paper straws, CFL lightbulbs, and donating food scraps to local farms to be used as animal feed.
