The Great Florida Cleanup is a collaborative initiative led by EARTHDAY.ORG and #UNLITTER . Our mission is to unite Floridians in removing trash from our environment and fostering a culture of sustainability and environmental stewardship. We aim to remove at least 1 pound of trash in each of the 67 counties in Florida. Join us in making a tangible impact!
About the Cleanup
The Great Florida Cleanup is more than just an event—it's a movement towards a cleaner, greener Florida. On September 21, 2024, volunteers across the state will come together to pick up litter, raise awareness about pollution, and promote environmental responsibility.
Why This Date?
The event is held on the third Saturday of September, which coincides with National Cleanup Day. This date is chosen to align with a nationwide effort to clean up our environment, maximizing the impact and fostering a sense of unity and collective action across the country.
