#UNLITTER is a nonprofit that promotes "a global movement of humans doing good” through events, educational content & community action. #UNLITTER empowers individuals to live more conscious and positive lives.
The #UNLITTER Movement started in 2016. The movement does more than encourage people to pick up litter - our main goal is to increase environmental awareness and educate people on how to live sustainably + positively, without buying new products.
Join our global movement as a member of our team! Gain experience working with a nonprofit and with project management - creating an education . Please note that the desired qualifications are not required, if you are interested you should apply. This internship is volunteer based.

Schedule Expectations
Hour Expectations (flexible): 3-5 hours per week, with 1 weekly meeting. Different roles will require different time requirements.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the #UNLITTER team to create and execute a social media strategy to promote the organization's mission and increase engagement.
Manage the organization's social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Create compelling and engaging content, including graphics, videos, and other multimedia, for use across social media platforms.
Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to keep the organization's social media strategy fresh and effective.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure that social media efforts are aligned with other marketing and outreach efforts.
Provide regular reports on social media analytics, including audience engagement, follower growth, and content performance.
Desired Qualities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools, such as Hootsuite, Google Analytics, or Buffer.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for social media, environmental sustainability, and positive change. Graphic design experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
