Wynwood Trash & Treasure Hunt
Creating cleaner streets, less flooding & safer waters while having fun
Imagine walking down the street and spotting some sort of treasure on the ground. It could be a watch, a necklace, a $20 bill. Most of us wouldn’t think twice about picking up that treasure. Now imagine if we all reacted the same way to trash we encounter on the streets every day. Picking it up every time, and properly disposing of it; creating a more pleasant environment on the ground and in the water that surrounds us. Cleaner and safer for all inhabitants of this planet.
Finding Treasure, Fixing Trash
On Saturday, July 31st please join us for a Trash & Treasure Hunt in Wynwood. Volunteers will be invited to collect trash across the neighborhood and along the way, they may happen upon a numbered banana. Each number corresponds to a piece of artwork, generously donated by local Miami artists. Anyone who finds a banana will receive the corresponding piece of art once they turn in a full bag of collected trash.
