#UNLITTER founded the UF Environmental Coalition (UF ECO) to create a space for students from all majors to find their niche in sustainability here in Gainesville. We welcome nonprofits in the area, clubs from UF/SF, and other related organizations to apply.

UF Environmental Coalition (UF ECO)

Each fall and spring, the coalition will host a general body meeting for all students as well as the Gainesville community to attend. This will inform all members of the community on the various projects that are happening on and off campus and invite them to attend events and collaborate. Mission

Facilitate discussion between UF and Gainesville sustainability organizations to promote collaboration and boost off-campus opportunities to expand students' involvement in making our lives, campus, and community more green.

Interested Organizations

All Gainesville organizations are welcome and encouraged to apply. Join UF ECO by filling out the application and expect to receive more information via email. Orgs will be onboarded on a rolling basis.

After completing the form and applying on behalf of your organization, each semester your organization will be expected to: 

1. Send at least one member of your team to UF ECO Representative meetings held twice a semester in the fall and spring. 

2. Take part in the UF ECO General Body meeting at the beginning of the fall and spring (open to all UF students and community members).

3. Commit to promoting Earth Week Programming to members (dates below). ​
